Mr. Stork

I had my 18 week ultrasound today, and it looks like Mr. Stork has a boy delivery in mind. We decided that after shamefully calling this poor little boy Shanaenae for the past few months, we now need to change his name to something masculine enough to make up for it. We've decided on Maximus. I actually really like the name Max, but it just doesn't jibe with our last time... or it jibes a little too well. Either way, we won't be considering Maximus for his name when he's born.

Maximus looked healthy and perfect. He has been wiggling around like crazy lately, and it was fun to get to see some of it on screen. Last night Tim was trying to hear his heart with the stethoscope and he was able to see my stomach moving as Maximus wiggled around, it was fun times. We can't hear his heartbeat quite yet, but should be able to soon.

Here are our first videos of Maximus:

  1. Yay! You could have Max be the middle name so he has the potential for an awesome nickname.

  3. Max is pretty cute already. It's amazing to see so much detail at this early stage.

  4. it's pretty exciting that you'll be going into uncharted waters instead of feeling like you've kinda done this before. of course, I hear talk of how they're all pretty different and it's uncharted waters every time. excellent news though. Bears will be so excited to have a little guy around that he can show the ropes to.

  5. Personally I think he looks like a Tyrone, but Max is a great name, too. I can't hear Max without thinking of that Simpson's episode where Homer goes by Max Power, which is also an awesome name.

  7. Max already enjoys long swims in the womb and squirming around.
